The Bettendorf Community Schools Foundation annually awards scholarships and presents them at the BHS Senior Awards Ceremony. Once the BHS Student Services office posts these applications in early March. Specific dollar amounts may be updated at that time.

Barbara J. Brown Golden Bulldog Award: to the male and female senior who best exemplifies excellence in athleticism, good sportsmanship, and support of BHS athletics. This award is funded in collaboration with the Bettendorf Athletic Boosters.
Darlene Stansberry Scholarship: to the senior who has demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship, responsible behavior in everyday life, and participation in BHS sports activities.
Dr. A. E. Lampe Family Scholarship: to a senior pursuing a nursing degree. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years. This grant will be offered again in 2022.
Dr. Raymond W. Oles Math/Computer Sciences Scholarship: to the senior who best demonstrates a love of mathematics and has excelled at other BHS activities such as music, arts, student government, and sports.
Janice Lawson Eternal Spirit Award: to the senior who best displays integrity and high moral character, personal accountability, superior sportsmanship, and community service.
Rich & Dee James Bettendorf High School Senior Scholarship: to a senior who demonstrates commitment to and involvement in high school and community activities beyond the classroom.
Bettendorf Rotary Scholarships (2): will be awarded by the Bettendorf Rotary to a male and female senior who has demonstrated leadership, academic success and a spirit of willing service to others.
Barbara Rich Scholarship: to a senior who intends to pursue a nursing program at a two or four year college or university.
Stewart N. Lounsberry Scholarship: to the most valuable male and female member of the BHS swim team as selected by the members of the team. The student does not have to be a senior.
Donald A. Schaefer Sciences, MAth and Engineering Scholarship: This scholarship is rewarded to a BHS graduate who plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in physical science, life science, computer science, math or engineering. Students must demonstrate financial need.
Thomas Jefferson Spirit of Community Legacy Scholarship: to a female and male senior who were Thomas Jefferson students, that have demonstrated good citizenship and community service.
BHS Class of 1956 Scholarship: to a senior who has displayed a commitment to academics, arts and athletics and who has demonstrated leadership within the school or community.
Pamela D. Johnson, PhD Educational Scholarship: to a senior planning to attend college in Iowa and pursue a major in education.

Friends of BHS Theatre Drama Scholarship: $500 to a senior planning to major/minor in performing arts, technical theatre or theatre education.
Bill and Alice Mary Meier Scholarship: $1,000 to the senior who exhibits a strong commitment to community service and has demonstrated financial need.
